Police Searches Homes Of Driving License Service Employees In C Romania

Several searches are conducted Wednesday morning in the homes of employees with the driving license service in Sfantu Gheorghe, central Romania, part of an investigation of general anticorruption prosecutors checking the release of licenses and registration of cars, investigators said.

Manuela Popescu, head of the general anticorruption office in Covasna county, said searches are unfolded in 23 homes and prosecutors are looking to see how driving licenses were issued and cars registered in Sfantu Gheorghe.
