Romania Allocates EUR907M For Village Renewal

Romanian government will allocate over EUR907 million for the village renewal and development program (Measure 322), Agriculture Minister Ilie Sarbu said Thursday.

He said the money represents co-financing to the funds allocated by the European Union

Sarbu said the government approved an ordinance regarding the Measure 322 on rural development last week, and another one with respect to the methodology on Wednesday.

He mentioned the funds are already in use.
