A team of 16 Romanian police officers will be dispatched to Italy for three months to help Italian police investigate crimes committed by Romanian nationals in Italy, Romania’s Interior Ministry said Monday.

Romania Dispatches Police Offices To Italy For 3 Mos

The locations where the Romanian police officers will work have not been decide yet, and they will be sent wherever they would be able to help investigate cases involving Romanians.
 
Interior minister Cristian David said on May 15, after talks with the Italian interior minister, that Romania would send an additional number of officers to Italy, to help local authorities fight crime.
