Romania EU-Funded Projs At RON7.07B By Feb 25 – Fin Min

Romania contracted EU-funded projects worth 7.07 billion lei (EUR1-RON4.2946) by February 25, while the overall value of project applications reached RON53.5 billion, Finance Minister Gheorghe Pogea said Tuesday.

Pogea presented the numbers at a government meeting on absorption of Community funds.

Romanian Premier Emil Boc gave the authorities in charge with attracting EU-funded projects until February 25 to finalize audit proceedings for management and control systems of Sectorial Operational Programs in view of contracting the funds allocated by the European Union.
