Romania Jobless Rate Falls Slightly To 7.08% In October

Romanian unemployment rate was at 7.08% in October, down from 7.35% a month earlier, the country’s employment agency ANOFM said Thursday.

A year earlier, Romania's jobless rate was 7.1%.

The total number of unemployed people reached 645,794 in October, compared with 670,247 in September, ANOFM said.

End-October, the number of jobless claims rose slightly to 329,182 from 325,374 in the previous month.
