Voter turnout in Romania’s presidential election was at 20.96% by GMT1100, the Central Electoral Bureau said.

Turnout for the presidential election was of 20.12% in urban areas and 22.10% in rural areas.

Voter turnout in capital Bucharest was at 19.71% by GMT1100.

Romania has about 18 million registered voters and polls close at GMT1900.
