Romania Registers 114 Deaths, 6,908 AH1N1 Infections

Romania registers 114 fatalities and 6,908 infections with the AH1N1 flu virus, as three more deaths and 35 new infections have been reported over the past 24 hours, Romania’s Health Ministry said Tuesday.

The latest three AH1N1 fatalities were reported in people suffering from chronic illnesses, the ministry said.

New AH1N1 infection cases were registered in Iasi (15 cases), Buzau, Dambovita, Harghita (three cases each), Botosani (two cases), Arad, Cluj, Constanta, Covasna, Giurgiu, Ialomita, Maramures, Mures and Timis (one case each).
