Romania Registers 119 Deaths, AH1N1 Infections Near 7,000

Romania has registered 119 deaths because of the AH1N1 flu virus by Friday and the number of infections has reached 6,938, the Health Ministry said.

One death and seven new infections were reported over the past 24 hours, the ministry said, adding the person who died also suffered from chronic illnesses.

The seven new AH1N1 infection cases were registered in Satu Mare (2 cases), capital city Bucharest, Brasov, Arges, Bistrita and Calarasi (1 case each).
