Romania Registers 52 Deaths, 5,568 AH1N1 Infections

Romania registers 52 fatalities and 5,568 infections with the AH1N1 flu virus, as three deaths and 56 new infections have been reported over the past 24 hours, Romania’s Health Ministry said Tuesday.

According to the ministry, new AH1N1 infection cases were registered in Arad, Brasov and Constanta (four cases each), Arges, Covasna, Galati, Giurgiu and Tulcea (one case each), Botosani, Ialomita and Ilfov (three cases each) and Braila, Calarasi, Iasi, Mures and Prahova (two cases each).

Capital city Bucharest registered 20 new AH1N1 infections over the past 24 hours.
