Romania's '09 GDP Growth Seen At 4.6% - Ctrl Bker

Romanian economy will grow by 4.6% in 2009, according to National Bank of Romania's forecast, central bank deputy governor Cristian Popa said Tuesday

"Of course there will be a slowdown of the economy. We (the central bank) expect next year's gross domestic product growth to slow to 4.6%," Popa said.

For this year, Romania's National Prognosis Commission expects economic growth at 9.1% and sees GDP growth at 6% for next year.
