Romania’s 2011 State Budget To Be Ready After Public Sector Wage Law

Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc said Saturday the 2011 state budget bill will be ready as soon as the unitary wage law for the public sector is completed, because the state budget is drafted considering the wage law.

The prime minister said next year's budget will be constructed on a deficit of 4.4% f gross domestic product, compared to this year's deficit of 6.8%.

"We need to have a very well articulated budget, with priorities, and which responds to Romania's needs because we need to narrow the deficit to 3% in 2012," Boc said.
