Romania To Sell 20% Stake In Airline Tarom On Bucharest Stock Exchange

Romania's Government on Wednesday approved the sale of 20% of national airline Tarom's shares on the Bucharest Stock Exchange, as per the state's commitments to the International Monetary Fund and European Commission.

The Government issued a Decision approving Tarom SA's privatization strategy.

The Transport Ministry is in charge of the strategy's implementation and the sale of stake through an initial public offering in the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

According to the Government's press office, the time of the sale will be decided by the Executive.
