Romania To Spend About RON150M To Organize Presidential Elections - Sources

The Romanian government will spend an estimated 150 million lei (EUR1=RON4.2293) to organize presidential elections this fall, people close to the matter told MEDIAFAX Wednesday.

The sources said the government was proposed the assignment of a total RON151.9 million for the organization of presidential elections this year.

The Government paid RON64.1 million for the parliamentary and presidential election in 2004.

Romania holds the first round of presidential elections on November 22 and a second round December 6.
