Romanian 48 YO Graduates From University After Being Homeless For Ten Yrs

A 48 year-old Romanian has graduated university, where he majored in sociology and psychology, after ten years of living on the streets and fighting alcoholism, an NGO assisting him said Wednesday.

Razvan Ion Marin, 48, a former taxi driver who has been homeless for the past ten years and has overcome his alcoholism, has graduated from the Spiru Haret University in Bucharest, where he majored in sociology, the Samusocial Romania organization said.

With the help of social workers, Marin has also regained his taxi driver license and will soon start working again.
