Romanian Carmaker Dacia Launches Sandero Stepway Next Wednesday

Romanian carmaker Automobile Dacia, the local division of France’s Renault, launches next Wednesday the Sandero Stepway, the Romanian carmaker’s first crossover, Dacia said Thursday.

The carmaker didn’t say when the new car would be up for sale in Romania.

In 2008, Automobile Dacia made 242,415 cars, up 8.8% compared to its output in 2007. Dacia’s Logan MCV and Logan Sedan models accounted for 70% of its output and the rest was accounted by the company’s newest model, the Sandero.
