Romanian Citizens May Travel To Japan Without Visa In 2012

The Japanese Government has decided to extend until December 31, 2012 a measure allowing Romanian citizens to travel to Japan without a visa, while the visit should not last more than 90 days, Japan’s Embassy in Romania said in a press release Wednesday.

The measure was implemented in September 2009 to apply until December 31, 2011, and has been extended by one year.

The measure does not apply to Romanian citizens who come to Japan to apply for a job.
