Romanian Constitutional Court Validates Elections, Referendum Results

The Romanian Constitutional Court validated the final results of the presidential elections and of the national referendum, while the electoral campaign for the presidential runoff, held on December 6, will start Thursday.

The Constitutional Court adopted Thursday Decision no. 36 on the results of the elections for the president of Romania in the first round of elections held on November 22, 2009. The decision will now be published on the Official Journal of Romania.
