Romanian Court Approves Creation Of Social Liberal Union

The Court of Bucharest on Thursday admitted the registration application for the political alliance between the Center-Right Alliance (ACD) and the Social Democratic Party (PSD), called the Social Liberal Union (USL).

USL had filed the application and associated documents on March 8, 2011.

The Union is made up of the main opposition parties: the Social Democratic Party, the Liberal Party and the Conservative Party. The latter two previously formed the Center-Right Alliance.
