Romanian Democrat Liberals Submit No-Confidence Motion To Senate

Romania’s Democratic Liberal Party (PDL) submitted Wednesday to the Senate‘s chairman the no-confidence motion dubbed "Education in. Government out," which collected 132 signatures, although it needed a minimum 116 signatures.

Constantin Gheorghe, leader of the democrat liberal senators, said they also collected signatures from social democrat, conservative and far-rightist lawmakers.

Constantin said they observed the Senate’s regulations and submitted the no-confidence motion to the Senate’s chairman.
