Romanian Driver Dies In NE Hungary

A 34-year old Romanian national died Saturday morning near Patyod, on Road 49 in north-eastern Hungary, after his car overturned and hit a tree, MTI news agency cited the local police.

While driving from the Hungarian-Romanian border without wearing the seatbelt, the driver lost control of the vehicle and was thrown out of the car.

His car hit another vehicle registered in Romania. The woman driving it was not harmed.

The police are investigating the cause of the accident.
