Romanian Econ Min Sacks Nuclearelectrica’s Board President

Romanian Economy Minister Adriean Videanu on Wednesday dismissed the president of the managing board of nuclear power producer Nucleareclectrica, Gabriel Irimie Bacaintan.

At the same time, Videanu appointed Alexandru Sandulescu as member of the board, the ministry said in a press release.

The new managing board president will be appointed at a later date.

Nuclearelectrica operates Romania's sole nuclear power plant in Cernavoda.
