Romanian Election Office Debates Appeals, Recounts Votes Tuesday

Romania’s Central Election Office called a meeting Tuesday to debate about 20 appeals and vote recount requests.

The office is still expecting to receive the minutes from the counties of Bacau, Botosani, Mures and Olt, for which results were communicated over the phone.

The office said 172,884 null and 176,217 blank ballots were registered for the Senate and 210,994 null and 139,139 blank ballots were registered for the Chamber of Deputies.
