Romanian Ex-High Profile MP Musca Not Planning Political Comeback

Romania’s former democrat liberal lawmaker Mona Musca, who left politics after reports that she collaborated with the communist era political police, said Sunday she is not planning to run for a seat in Parliament.

She said she does not plan to run with the Democratic Liberal Party or any other party.

“I cannot run to enter a system I no longer believe in,” Musca said, adding she does not plan to run independently for Parliament either.
