Romanian Film Director Sergiu Nicolaescu Underwent Surgery, Is Feeling Well

Romanian film director Sergiu Nicolaescu underwent surgery at the Elias hospital in capital city Bucharest, as he was suffering from an intracranial hematoma caused by a cerebral traumatism, said on Wednesday Valentin Calu, hospital spokesperson.

He said the surgery took place on Tuesday and that doctors managed to remove the hematoma.

Calu said Nicolaescu is feeling better and that his condition is a good one. He added the renowned director was moved from the intensive therapy section of the hospital into a private room.
