Romanian Govt Disbands PM’s Chancellery

The emergency ordinance disbanding the Chancellery of the Romanian Prime Minister was approved in the Government meeting held Wednesday.

Romanian prime minister Emil Boc said the attributed of the Chancellery will be undertaken by the Secretariat General of the Government and there will not be additional staff employed by the Secretariat.

The head of the Chancellery, Catalin Baba, will continue to work in the Government, as state adviser within the Cabinet of the prime minister.
