Romania’s Government Thursday sent the unitary wage bill to Parliament and asked legislators to set a calendar for the Government to adopt it through a confidence vote.

The Government approved the IMF-required unitary wage law for the public sector in 2011 during Wednesday's Cabinet meeting.
Prime Minister Emil Boc Wednesday said wages in the public sector are to increase 15% next year and the minimum wage would be increased to 670 lei (EUR1=RON4.3079) from the current RON600.
