Romanian Hip-Hop Singer Gets Four Years In Prison For Drug Trafficking

Romanian hip-hop singer Tudor Sisu of the band La Familia was sentenced Friday to four years on prison for drug trafficking.

The ruling may be appealed.

Sisu was arrested and indicted in May 2006 alongside 15 other people for drug trafficking. The group was accused of distributing about 40 kilograms of heroin in capital Bucharest in one year.

Sisu has previously done jail time for drug consumption and possession.
