Romanian Judicial Stamp Duties To Be Paid Online As Of ’09 – Draft Act

Romania’s Justice Ministry has drawn up a draft ordinance which will allow parties to court cases to pay the judicial stamp taxes online starting with March next year as well.

The draft act also aims to diversify payment modalities for judicial stamp taxes, as well as to consolidate court practices on rulings that stand for authentic documents.

In addition, the act stipulates individuals can benefit from exemptions, deductions, redistributions or delays regarding payment of the judicial stamp taxes.
