Romanian Liberal Chamber Speaker Voted For Lawmakers To Put Local Auth To Work

Romania’s Chamber of Deputies speaker, liberal Bogdan Olteanu, voted Sunday in Bucharest for “strong” lawmakers that would control and put to work local authorities sin Bucharest district 1, where he lives.

"It won’t be easy, but we’ll do good work with people who are determined and know what they’re doing. At the next election, I hope to meet here with neighbors who are content with their mayoralty and government, not disgruntled as they are today,” Olteanu said.

The Chamber speaker also urged Romanians to go to the polls and elect their future representatives.
