Romanian Liberals, Democrat-Liberals To Meet For Talks On Coalition Govt

Officials of Romania’s centrist Democrat Liberal Party and the center-right National Liberal Party will meet Saturday for talks on forming a coalition government, democrat liberal leader Emil Boc said Friday.

Boc said he held talks with outgoing premier Calin Popescu Tariceanu earlier today and that they agreed the two parties’ negotiations teams should meet Saturday morning.

The four Romanian parties that made it to the parliament following the last week’s polls met with President Traian Basescu on Friday to discuss about forming a parliamentary majority.
