Romanian painter Sabin Balasa passed away on Tuesday at Sfanta Maria Hospital in capital city Bucharest, the artist being paralyzed from waist down as he was suffering from cancer.

According to his doctors, Balasa passed away around 15:00 local time, following a cardiac arrest.
