Romanian Plane Crash-lands In Bucharest

A plane from Romanian airliner Carpatair, coming to Bucharest from Timisoara, western Romania, ran off the landing strip on the Henri Coanda – Otopeni airport in Bucharest, because of a technical malfunction, said airport spokesman Valentin Iordache.

The aircraft is a BAE-146 type and, in its course from Timisoara to Bucharest, it had “an unscheduled stop” at Craiova, according to Iordache.

He added all passengers left the plane safely.
