Romanian PM Confident Final EP Poll Results Will Show Clear Win For His Party

Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc, head of the Democratic Liberal Party, said Sunday evening that he is confident final EP election results will show a clear victory for his party, after exit polls placed democrat liberals and social democrats at a relative tie with roughly 30% each.

Boc thanked voters who left their homes to acts ballots on a very hot day.

"I am confident that, as it was with elections for the Romanian Parliament, the final count will show a clear victory for the Democratic Liberal Party,” Boc said.
