Romanian PM Promises To Dismiss Youth, Environment Ministers If Prosecution Starts

Romanian Prime Minister Emil Boc said Thursday he will dismiss youth minister Monica Iacob Ridzi and environment minister Nicolae Nemirschi if they are prosecuted.

The Parliament Commission investigating the Youth Day case will recommend youth minister Ridzi be prosecuted, while the Democratic Liberal Party (of which the minister is a member) will present a separate opinion, claiming work negligence, deputy Mircea Grosaru said.
