Romanian Pres Promulgates State Budget Law, Law On Social Insur Budget

Romanian President Traian Basescu promulgated Wednesday the state budget law and the law on social state insurance budget for 2009, the presidency announced.

The Parliament approved last week both the state budget and the social insurance budget.

The 2009 budget is based on a 2.5% economic growth, a 2% of the GDP budget deficit and a 5% inflation rate.
