Romanian President Arrives In Berlin To Meet With German Counterpart And Merkel

Romanian President Traian Basescu arrived in Berlin Thursday and met with German counterpart Christian Wulff.

Basescu will also meet with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

The Romanian head of state is accompanied on his official visit by Minister of European Affairs Leonard Orban and Foreign Affairs Ministry state secretary Bogdan Aurescu.

Basescu will also attend an economic seminar held at Deutsche Bank's headquarters in Berlin, and will meet with Romanians in Germany.
