Romanian President Attends Folk Party SW Country

The head of state thanked Mayor Antonie Solomon for inviting him at the folk party, as well as the inhabitants in Leamna for their warm welcome.

“I wish to thank Mr. Antonie Solomon and I wish to thank you for your warm welcome. I will not bring up politics today, as this is the day after the Easter,” Basescu told the participants in the event.

The presidential family spent the Easter at a designated villa in Olanesti locality, Valcea County.
