Romanian President Passes Education Law

Earlier, the Constitutional Court had ruled that the education law, adopted through a vote of confidence in the Government, is constitutional.

The Court rejected the claims of unconstitutionality filed by Senate Chairman Mircea Geoana and by 108 deputies of the opposition parties - social democrats, liberals and conservatives.
