Romanian President’s Spokesman Appointed Presidential Adviser As Of Jan 1, 2011

The Romanian president’s spokesman, Valeriu Turcan, has been appointed presidential adviser as of January 1, 2011, according to the appointment decree signed by the head of state.

Turcan is currently state adviser in the Presidency's Communication department and spokesman too the president.

Turcan will continue to serve as the president's spokesman from the position of presidential adviser.

President Traian Basescu signed the decree appointing Turcan presidential adviser on December 22.
