Romanian President To Address Parliament On Sept 24

Romanian President Traian Basescu is expected to address Parliament on issues concerning the country’s foreign policy and interior affairs, on September 24, following the decision taken Tuesday by the Standing Offices of the Romanian Senate and Chamber of Deputies.

Basescu is expected to address his message to lawmakers at 10 a.m., vice-president of the Chamber of Deputies, Lucian Bolcas, told MEDIAFAX.

On September 8, Basescu requested the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate to enable him to address the Parliament on a report on Romania’s foreign policy and interior affairs.

The head of state asked to address the Parliament on September 24, at 11 a.m.
