Kovesi asked the Chamber of Deputies, of which Nastase is a member, to start procedures to approve prosecution against the social democrat official.

The prosecutors general asked the Senate to approve prosecution on senator Serban Mihailescu, accused of bribe taking and breaching arms and ammunition rules. While ha was the coordinating minister of the Government General Secretariat, he allegedly received hunting weapons from his personal adviser, whom he appointed in this position, weapons he kept without having a license.
