Romanian Seaside Hotel Occupancy Rates At 100% Last Weekend

Hotel occupancy rates at Romanian seaside stood at 100% over the weekend, for the first time this year, the National Association of Tour Agencies, or ANAT, said Thursday.

Hotel tariffs fell 20% on the year, compared to a 15% raise operated last summer, ANAT head Corina Martin said at the end of the "Mediafax talks about Romanian Tourism" conference.

Martin expressed her hope that hotel occupancy rates will remain around 100% over the next period as well.

“Many events are organized at the seaside and we hope this will attract tourists,” Martin mentioned.
