Romanian Swine Flu Patients Released, No New Cases Confirmed

All nine Romanian patients infected with the new H1N1 flu virus are in good health and were released from hospital on Tuesday, the Health Ministry said in a statement.

The ministry said there have been no new infections over the past days.

Last Friday, Romania confirmed its nine case of novel influenza in a 28-year-old woman who recently returned from New York.

Worldwide, the number of H1N1 influenza infections reached 24,871 cases, of which 284 have been confirmed over the past 24 hours.
