S&P Affirms Then Withdraws 'BB+' Rating On Romania's BCR

Standard & Poor's Ratings Services affirmed Friday its 'BB+' long-term counterparty credit rating on Romanian largest bank Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR), and subsequently withdrawn the rating at the lender's request, the ratings agency said in a press release.

S&P Affirms Then Withdraws 'BB+' Rating On Romania's BCR

S&P also said the outlook at the time of the withdrawal was negative.
 
As a result of the withdrawal, BCR will no longer be subject to Standard & Poor's surveillance.
 
There are no outstanding issues rated, S&P said.
 
BCR is majority owned by Austria's Erste Group.
