Several Rivers In Romania Under Code Yellow Flood Alert Starting Thursday

Romanian hydrologists have issued a code yellow flood alert for five rivers in the central, southern and eastern parts of the country, valid Thursday and Friday.

Rivers under yellow code are Tarnave (C), Olt and Prahova (S), starting Thursday afternoon, and Siret and Prut (E) starting Friday.

The counties that might be affected by flooding are Hunedoara, Mures, Sibiu, Alba, Covasna, Brasov, Prahova, Suceava and Botosani.

According to hydrologists, the five rivers' tributaries might also overflow their banks.
