About 1,700 Romanian citizens voted by GMT 0700 in the European Parliament elections at polling stations set up abroad, the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release.

Some 1,700 Romanians Voted Abroad For EP Elections By GMT 0700 – Foreign Min

Most Romanians who voted abroad were in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, the ministry said, citing data centralized from Romania’s diplomatic missions.

The ministry added polls for Romanians in Australia close at GMT 1100.

Romania has set up 190 polling stations abroad for this EP election.
