Taxi Helicopter Crashes In Danube Delta, No Casualties

A taxi helicopter carrying three people crashed Monday from an altitude of one-two meters in the Danube Delta, south-eastern Romania, and caught fire, but no one was hurt, Tulcea County Emergency Inspectorate official Daniela Condrea told MEDIAFAX.

The incident took place Monday, around 9 a.m. According to Condrea, the helicopter had risen around two meters off the ground, when the pilot noticed a technical failure and tried to land.

The three passengers jumped out, but the helicopter crashed and caught fire.
