Three people died and three others were injured Tuesday in a blast on the Cincu shooting ground in Brasov county, central Romania.

People close to the matter said the explosion occurred during a military drill.

Those injured in the blast have been rushed to the Fagaras hospital.

A Romanian noncommissioned officer died end-October after being severely injured during a military drill on the same shooting ground and military prosecutors started investigations into the accident.

Military prosecutors have opened an investigation.
