Three Romanian soldiers of the 300 infantry battalion were injured Wednesday morning south of Qalat, in Afghanistan, the Romanian Defense Ministry said.

Romanians Gheorghe IonelVasluianu,Gheorghe Dan Hamza and Constantin Mihai Sbughea were on a patrol mission on the Qalat-Kandahar road and drove the vehicle over an improvised explosive device.
The area was immediately secured and a commission led by the battalion commander is investigating the circumstances of the incident.
