Coronavirus in Romania: 10.108 new cases of infected people and 167 deaths

As of Thursday, 19 November, in Romania, 393.851 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID - 19) have been confirmed.

269.590 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 10.108 new cases of people infected with SARS - CoV - 2 (COVID - 19) were reported, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test.

Apart from the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 1.334 people were reconfirmed as infected.

To date, 9.596 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

Between 18.11.2020 (10:00) - 19.11.2020 (10:00) were reported 167 deaths (91 men and 76 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeş, Bihor, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoşani, Braşov, Buzău, Caraş-Severin, Constanţa, Dolj, Galaţi, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomiţa, Iaşi, Maramureş, Mehedinţi, Mureş, Neamţ, Olt, Prahova, Sălaj, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiş, Vâlcea, Ilfov and Bucharest.
